About the watch & condition:
Here we have a beautiful Tudor Submariner dated 1992. It’s housed in the Rolex case with its Rolex crown and has been kept in excellent condition over the years. When time tested it kept excellent time over a 24 hour period within around 10 seconds. More details below;
The watch has a gorgeous black dial with beautiful indexes & hands. The date complication is nice & easy to read with the cyclops lens on the crystal as shown! Condition wise it looks excellent, there’s some minor wear to the lume but this is to be expected with the tritium compound used.
The Crystal is nice & clean and gives you a nice view of the dial below, the cyclops lens also makes it a little easier to read the date!
The dial & movement is housed in a beautiful Rolex branded Oyster case. There’s some light scratches & general wear which you’d expect on any pre owned vintage watch but nothing major at all.
The bezel rotates and looks excellent, it does rotate both ways though and doesn’t have a typical click. Just due to its age, really is a minor issue! There’s a few little marks as shown the main one being between the 8 & 9 o’clock position on the outer edge. While wearing though it looks fine you really don’t even notice much.
It still has its original Rolex branded screwdown crown which looks stunning & works absolutely fine. The date is also quickset on this model and flicks through nicely!
The watch is sat on its original Tudor bracelet which will fit a wrist of just under 7 1/2 inches or smaller. It works absolutely fine and suits the watch perfectly as expected. There’s some light scratches but nothing major whatsoever.
This is an automatic watch meaning it runs off the movement of your wrist. It can also be manually wound as all automatic watch can be. The watch has a small power reserve however if left for a period of time it will have likely stopped.
This is just for the watch, no box or paperwork unfortunately this is common with vintage watches!
