We've been involved in the watch industry around 15 years and have extensive knowledge on authentication of the multiple brands we offer.

This industry is unfortunately plagued with dishonest sellers knowingly & not knowingly selling counterfeit items. As the industry grows more and more popular, so does the demand & skill of counterfeiters which is why its extremely important to ONLY shop from Trusted sellers. 

Authentication Process:

To ensure we only stock authentic items we have stringent checks set in place before anything can be listed on any of our platforms.

1) First the watch and any other contents that it comes with are inspected. We study all aspects of the watch from the look & the feel of the materials. We check parts such as the Case, Strap/Bracelet, Dial, Hands, Crystal, Crown and much more 

2) After the outer parts of the watch have been examined the watch will be opened up so we can take a closer look at the movement. We'll check the watch over to ensure it meets the original Manufacturers conditions. 

3) Once authenticated the watch will then be placed on our Timeographer to ensure its running healthily as it should. In some cases the watch is also tested manually over a 24 hour period to confirm there's no problems at all. For vintage watches especially its common for them to be +/- 30 seconds a day however anything like this will be stated in the description for you. We often service a watch before selling too, is this has been done it will be stated in the watch listing.
