About the watch & condition:

Here we have a nice Rolex Oyster Royal Precision from 1959. The watch is powered by a manual wind calibre 1210 Rolex movement which is running smoothly. When timed over 24 hours it gained around 30 seconds. Considering it’s 66 years old this isn’t bad but can be improved further with a service. If you’re looking for service options give is a message & we can send some recommendations!

The watch has a beautiful dial with the sword hands fantastic indexes. It’s been kept in good shape, there’s a few little marks but for its age it’s exceptional!

The watch has a nice acrylic crystal which gives you a nice clean view of the dial.

The watch is housed in a stainless steel oyster case with a fixed smooth bezel. Both are in great shape for its age. There’s some light scratches which is to be expected but nothing you wouldn’t expect from a pre owned vintage watch.

It has its original Rolex branded screwdown crown which looks stunning & works just as you’d expect with no problems.

The watch is sat on a standard brown leather strap which goes nicely with the watch. It’s not the original and is a 18mm strap but suits it well. It’s 1mm smaller than the lug width so can easily be swapped out if you’d prefer something else.

This watch has a manual wind mechanical movement, this means it needs to be wound for it to work. Please know this when buying!

This is just for the watch, no box or paperwork. This is unfortunately common for vintage watches. We’ve also included a recent watch register check.
