About the watch & condition:
Here we have a beautiful Omega Seamaster 300 dated 1995! The watch is powered by a quartz calibre 1538 Omega perfect which has just had a brand new battery fitted. It does have a stiff bezel to rotate and has been polished. Due to the polish it has a slightly shinier finish than normal, some people may like this however if you don’t you could easily have the watch polished again and give it more of a matte finish. This watch is a hugely iconic watch within Omega & a very sought after watch, great value for money too with an equivalent now costing 5-7k from Omega!
The watch has the wave patterned dial & tritium lume coated markers. The dial itself is flawless along and the sapphire Crystal is also really good shape.
The blue bezel matches with the watch well & does rotate however is extremely stiff. This isn’t a huge problem as the majority of users never use this feature anyway. Condition it’s actually quite clean, usually these are a lot more scratched up.
The stainless steel case looks great! It’s been kept in good shape but as mentioned both the case & bracelet have been polished previously. The case does have some light scratches but nothing major. This is to be expected on any pre owned vintage watch.
The crown is screwdown & both this and the helium escape valve have the omega logo branded on them! The hour hand can be quickset making changing the date faster.
The back case has the famous Seamaster seahorse on the back case along with the wave pattern which surrounds the sea horse, I personally love this feature on these Seamaster’s.
These watches make an incredible daily! They can be dressed up or down to fit every occasion. They are extremely reliable & robust. I have one in my collection & are the perfect watch.
It’s sat on its original stainless steel Omega bracelet and will fit a 7 1/2 inch wrist with the extension closed. With the extension open it will fit a wrist sized 8 3/4 inches. As mentioned it has been polished up and has quite a glossy finish, if you don’t like this you could re polish it easily enough.
