About the watch & condition:

Here we have a beautiful Rolex Datejust originally purchased back in 1983 but manufactured the year previous in 1982. The watch is powered by a calibre 3035 automatic Rolex movement which runs smoothly keeping excellent time. When time tested over 24 hours it was within around 15 seconds.

We’ve have just had the watch stripped & cleaned too before retailing! The watch is a complete full set & a truly superb example! More details below;

The watch has a nice silver dial with matching indexes & hands. It’s a very clean dial and looks great on the wrist. The watch has definitely been well looked after and is in amazing condition. There’s some very minor light scratches on the crystal but nothing notable whatsoever.

The watch is housed in a nice stainless steel oyster case with a gorgeous machine turned bezel. There’s some minor light scratches with some slight wear on the lugs but this is to be expected on any pre owned vintage watch. Considering it’s nearly 45 years old it looks exceptional.

It has its original Rolex branded screwdown crown which looks stunning & works/winds absolutely fine. The date on this model is quickset and works perfectly.

The watch is sat on a gorgeous Rolex Jubilee bracelet which will fit a wrist of 7 inches or smaller. It looks exceptional and for its age its condition is stunning. There is some minor flex as shown but this is quite common especially with the jubilee bracelets. There’s some minor light scratches but again this is to be expected, while wearing it looks superb!

This is an automatic watch meaning it runs off the movement of your wrist. It can also be manually wound as all automatic watch can be. The watch has a small power reserve however if left for a period of time it will have likely stopped.

It’s very rare to find watches of this era this complete! This is a lovely full set and comes with the inner & outer Rolex box. It also has the Rolex papers sleeve containing the chronometer booklet & the guarantee booklet dated from its original purchase in 1983. The watch also comes with its import documentation dated 1983 and comes with a Rolex service receipt dated 2002.
